A. Claim number: All attempts will be made to obtain the proper claim number for billing purposes if claim number is not on file.

B. Authorizations: We will make every effort to obtain authorization from the physician and follow-up until obtained, then rebill to payor to finalize the bill.

C. DX codes: We will verify all DX codes to ensure they are valid and allowed prior to billing.

D. Employer Paid Claims: We will bill the proper employer and follow-up when necessary with medical records until claim is paid.

E. On-Site Personnel: At our cost, this eliminates the burden to your staff, gives us hands-on management and expedites our liquidation process.

F. Change Payor: Transfer to correct payor when workers compensation has been totally ruled out with and only with your prior approval.

G. First Reports of Injury: AMS has the capability to start the claim process and finalize the process resulting in a PAID IN FULL.

H. Contact With Patient/Employer: Sometimes billing information is non-existent or vague. Our professional approach to patients and employers results in obtaining information to bill correctly.
